Coffee Addict?

I used to drink coffee once in a blue moon and its usually the blended kind from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaves or Spinelli or some other coffee place. Since last year, I started this habit of drinking at least one cup of coffee a day to help myself keep awake. Tea, unfortunately is no help in this area. Lately, I have been trying to cut down on my coffee intake because I have identified it to be an "excess fat" item in my diet. I love milk in my coffee, there always has to be milk in my coffee but milk contains loads of calories!

Anyway, I resisted my coffee today and decided to have some juice instead. I am suffering from "heatiness" and coffee is a "heaty" drink so I have to take less of it. Late in the afternoon, I was at a client's place, typing away on my laptop when I smelt something really lovely in the air. Sniff, sniff, sniff, its COFFEE! Man, I started having bad withdrawal symptoms then! I had this intense coffee craving and it was in the same moment that I realised that I have become a coffee addict!!!!!!!! It was a really traumatising moment as I am a "tea person" if ever there is such a kind of branding and somehow, inadvertendly, I have become addicted to coffee!!??!!???! Sad to say, its an addiction that I will not be able to be rid off in the near future. Coffee is the one thing that helps me to keep awake when working late into the night (or more like till the early hours of the morning) and wakes up my sleep deprived brain in the mornings. Now, I finally understand why there are so many coffee addicts amongst my colleagues! Sigh! Any alternate suggestions anyone??

oh dearie... no no no it's terrible news!... tea actually has more caffeine! just that people drink it diluted... maybe you can pop coffee beans coated with chocs instead?! exercising helps but then again you need to make time for that... really black tea helps perhas?!... but never over brew them... apparently it makes you sleepy.

haha maybe Irn-Bru! can you get that in singapore?!
