Strawberry Shortcake

I have a confession to make, I am a really really big fan of Strawberry Shortcake! Have been since I was a kid and it seems that I still am. Although the Strawberry Shortcake that I used to be crazy about have been replaced by an updated character (a sign of how old I am already, I suppose) and the older version is called classic Strawberry Shortcake but I am still glad to have her back. Actually, I prefer the older version of Strawberry Shortcake but those products are no longer in production now and cost loads of money. I remember having a whole array of Strawberry Shortcake products when I was young; books, pencil case, wallet, mug, toothbrush, clothes and beddings. Sadly, now all I am left with are the beddings, the books and the pencil case I think. My biggest regret was that I never had a Strawberry Shortcake doll no matter how hard I cajoled my parents for one! Sigh.

I like the classic better too. Really loved her as a child. Do they sell products of the new one in Singapore now? I bought a small doll here - a new one, I figured better than nothing. At least they brought her back and she seems to be popular with small girls of today.

Yep, they sell the dolls in Singapore too. Stationery and bags also. I wanted to buy a mechanical pencil but they only had wood pencils and pens. I was seriously tempted to buy the folders and note pads but decided against it. I ended buying some stickers though, just could not resist lah! But I still think the classic version is nicer leh.

yep, i like the classic one much better too. I had quite a lot of Strawberry Shortcake stuff as well. My sis and I had a strawberry shortcake dress each. I can't remember if we ever bought the doll.
