A really unlucky day
It was Friday the 11th yesterday but it sure felt like Friday the 13th to me! Firstly, I was stuck in office clearing crap for the toiletries client. Had to plead with the client to prepare some documents again due to a mistake made by someone else. And try to get some work done on the messy files.
By late afternoon, things started to look up a little and I decided to head to the Network department and get them to fix my laptop. I had been having some problems with Microsoft Excel but had been too busy to get it fixed. Horrors of horrors, my lap top was actually experiencing a hardware failure and data saved on the bad sectors of my hard disk was to be gone for good. As there was too much data to transfer back and forth, I told the network guy to just delete all my mp3s away. Sob, now I have to rip my CDs all over again. So troublesome! But that left me without a laptop for some hours and fear that the data that was saved on the bad sectors was important data that I had not backed up! Anyway, it turned out that the data on the bad sectors have already been backed up but I ended having to work overtime to make up for the hours I had no lap top and could not get any work done! How shitty!
The final icing on the cake was when I realised the figurine I hung on my handphone had dropped off! So irritating!!! Very bad day. Was really glad to get home and just stay at home later that night!!!
