Indooroophilly
The town of Indooroophilly is around an hour's train ride from Ipswich and nearest shopping mall from Ipswich is situated there. A short 10 minute walk from the Indooroophilly train station and viola, three levels of shops and a food court too! The sale period is almost over and anyway, most of the stuff on sale now are winter clothes and I have no use for those back in sunny Singapore. Oh well, just as well, can save money, ha ha ha.
After a simple lunch of chicken pizza and diet coke, I headed to the shops with my family. My parents and brother spent most of the afternoon at a coffee place while I went into different clothing shops (Witchery, Jeanswest, Kmart, Valleygirl, Country Road etc), trying on piece after piece of clothing. At the end of the shopping trip, I ended up with a pink top from Valleygirl and loads of chocolates from Darrell Lea as gifts. The shops close at around 4pm so we headed back to Ipswich for dinner homecooked by my mum.
