It's another year
So how did I spend my Christmas and New Year break. Mainly shopping alot, eating alot and drinking alot. I think I shall abstain from all alcohol until Chinese New Year. I drank SO MUCH wine in the last week of 2005!
I feel kind of guilty about all the stuff I bought but oh well, I always need new clothes, new shoes and new whatever-nots. Hee hee. I ate alot of good food during my family Christmas Dinner, turkey, ham, salmon, prawn salad, ice cream, chocolate log cake, lemon meringue pie and raspberry mousse. As usual, my uncle was generous with his bottles of wine and of course I could not resist having numerous glasses of yummy wine!!
During my company's Christmas Dinner, its more wine for me! I think all my colleagues and myself included were taking full advantage of the free flow of alcohol and we just had glass after glass of wine. We were all so high (and some very drunk) by the end of the night but as one colleague commented, that was the calm before the storm! Ha ha ha. How true. Its back to my night-marish life again today. Lack of sleep, lack of television and lack of a social life!
Oh oh, I managed to watch "Chronicles of Narnia" too! The movie was ok but I much prefer the book. However, I would say the movie was a good effort and it brought my memories of reading the series as a child. After watching the movie, I felt this urge to go looking for my collection and re-reading the entire series again!
I managed to meet up with friends too, had dinner or lunch, shopping and KTV. Its so nice to know that I still have friends!!
So that's about all I did. This blog is going to sadly empty again for the next few weeks as all my energy will be spent working and meeting tight deadlines. Sigh.
