Went shopping again
My friend commented as she was shopping for clothes with me that I am a very focused shopper. As in, when I shop, I really shop. I browse through each clothes rack systematically and pick out the items I want to try. In my focused state, all I can think of is fabric, style and size. Whichever friend(s) who happen to be with me will usually have to spend some effort if they want to get a response from me!
Yes, the fact that I am even writing this entry means more money have been spent at the shops! I have, sadly, maxed out my supplementary credit card for the month and have to survive on NETS now. Argh, I should get my own credit card!

Bought a really expensive tote bag and 3 tops from Esprit.

i miss Esprit... maybe i'll visit the one in London... isn't it shocking that they don't have one in Edinburgh! a scandal.

I think Esprit is big only in Asia and USA. I heard that they have since closed down the US stores too. There are many other casual brands, like Topshop, Miss Selfridge and Gap in UK. Those are nice too.

i never find anything in topshop, miss selfridge and apart from tops in Gap... nothing else fits me. i seem to find trousers in NEXT... although i still like Laura Ashley and the other stores near it (their names are not in my wee head; they are on the posh street... amongst the big bank buildings...), which i go in and have a browse but don't end up buying anything... much too dear, you see... but very pretty things, they have. btw, ZARA has a rather lovely summer collection... i don't usually like ZARA but i popped in the other day when i was finally on Princes street, and found myself admiring some lovely skirts and dresses... but i didn't get any, i hardly get a chance to wear them here... there's hardly any real summer here! sob.

There will be proper summers where you are heading, tiggie. Don't fret. Its too hot here these days, even my AC at 22 deg C feels warm!
